The Rishis are eternal, immortal beings who, through the ages, have worked silently for the upliftment of humanity. Acting as the divine bridge between mankind and higher consciousness, they guide human evolution from the material to the spiritual. In earlier Yugas, their presence and guidance were direct and easily accessible. With the decline of Dharma in Kali Yuga, such contact has become rare. Yet, the Rishis continue their sacred work unseen—operating through chosen human instruments for the welfare of the world.
One such divinely guided soul was Sri Ambareesha Varma, reverentially known as Guru Amara. Blessed and guided by Maharishi Vishwamitra, he dedicated his entire life to the service of the Rishis. Guru Amara initiated seekers into Dhyana Marga as prescribed by the Rishis, often in their astral presence, and guided them towards righteous living, inner discipline, and universal love. His life was marked by simplicity, humility, equanimity, and compassion. His presence inspired countless seekers without any pursuit of publicity or personal recognition.
The teachings of Amara are humbly offered as a path towards sharing the timeless wisdom of the Rishis, inviting us all to reconnect with these sacred truths. At their heart, these teachings encourage the practice of Dhyana, fostering a journey of inner transformation that radiates outward into the world. By promoting a spirit of universal love, harmony, and friendship, they seek to build a more compassionate community for everyone. It is our sincere hope to inspire and support fellow seekers as they gently transition from material consciousness towards the profound peace of a spiritual awakening.
